Early Fall Soul Quest 2026
An all-camping program in Coyote, New Mexico
Monday, September 7 - Saturday, September 12, 2026
There are moments in a life when stepping back from the fray and the franticness of life is the medicine we need.
We may find ourselves in a moment of our life’s journey where we feel a bit off track or off course. Despite having all of the things we’ve been taught to want, somehow, we still feel a bit empty.
Or, we may find ourselves in a moment of our life where we are called to mark something - a new beginning, an ending, a letting go of something meaningful, a threshold crossing from one chapter of life into another - in a sacred, ceremonial way.
Or, we may just feel like it’s time to be out on the land in a sacred way, listening deeply for our soul’s guidance.
Being a Person
Be a person here. Stand by the river, invoke
the owls. Invoke winter, then spring.
Let any season that wants to come here make its own
call. After that sound goes away, wait.
A slow bubble rises through the earth
and begins to include sky, stars, all space,
even the outracing, expanding thought.
Come back and hear the little sound again.
Suddenly this dream that you are having matches
everyone’s dream, and the result is the world.
If a different call came there wouldn’t be any
world, or you, or the river, or the owls calling.
How you stand here is important. How you
listen for the next things to happen. How you breathe.
– William Stafford
This September, we will gather together for six days and five nights in the still red rock landscape of Coyote, New Mexico, to slow down, lean in, and truly listen to what’s arising from the depths ~ both from our own soul, as well as the soul of the land.
Through practices* such as wild conversations, soulcentric dreamwork, deep imagery journeys, praise walks, self-designed ceremony, muse art, council practice, and more, you will have the opportunity to descend deeply into the caverns of your own soul and discover the potent mysteries that lie in wait for you there.
~
The intention of the Early Fall Soul Quest is to support you in both marking an important threshold crossing in your life (whatever that may be), as well as creating time and space for sacred listening to what’s bubbling up from the soul stream now.
The program includes a 24-hour solo nature fast, where you will have the chance to be in a sacred ceremony with yourself, your soul, and the soul of the land.
My hope is that this time supports each person in getting back to the truth of who they are, so that they can live that truth more fully into the world upon returning.
Only you will know if this ceremony is coming at the right moment for you.
If it is, I invite you to fill out an initial application here. I will be in touch shortly.
