There are moments in life when stepping back from the busy pace is what our soul needs most.
Despite having everything, somehow, we still feel empty inside.
We might find ourselves feeling off course, lacking clarity on which direction to head next.
We may find ourselves in the doldrums, living life one day after the next, but not really feeling the natural joy we used to feel.
Perhaps life has ushered us to this very moment, a moment where we are being called to mark something in a bigger, more sacred way: a new beginning, an ending, a letting go of something deeply meaningful, a threshold crossing from one chapter of life into another.

This September, we will gather together for six days and five nights in the still red rock landscape of Coyote, New Mexico, to slow down, lean in, and turn a curious ear to listen for what’s arising from the depths ~ both from our own soul, as well as the soul of the land.
Through practices* such as wild conversations, soulcentric dreamwork, deep imagery journeys, praise walks, self-designed ceremony, muse art, council practice, and more, you will have the opportunity to descend deeply into the caverns of your own soul and discover the potent mysteries that lie in wait for you there.

The intention of the Fall 2026 Soul Quest is to support you in two main ways: one, marking an important threshold crossing in your life (whatever that may be) with a 24 hour vision fast ceremony, and two, creating time and space for deep, sacred listening to what’s bubbling up from your soul stream now.
My hope is that our time on the land supports each person in marking what it is time to mark in their life, and to hearing their deepest soul truth, so that they can live that truth more fully into the world.

Location: Private land in Coyote, New Mexico
Dates: Monday, Sept 7 - Saturday, Sept 12, 2026
Facilities: This retreat takes place on private land near Coyote, New Mexico. There is a compost toilet on the site, as well as a shower in the main house for use (up to 3 people per day). As this is an all-camping program, you will need to bring all of your own camping gear (a full list of what’s needed will be provided).
Meals: While there will be a group dinner provided the night before the 24-hour solo, you will provide all other meals and snacks of your own.
Cost: $1200-$1600
Many of the practices offered during the Fall Soul Quest I learned from the soulful guides of Animas Valley Institute. I share them with deep respect and gratitude for my human teachers and guides, as well as for the greatest teacher of all, Earth itself.
Being a Person
